OP is an idiot. Lol. Says he is “built” yet most of his opponents are bigger than him. logic would tell you that it gets harder as u move up, and Canelo has to break down his opponents to the body so that they’re timid to attack him. It makes it harder for Canelo to KO as he has to do the pressure work. Isn’t this common sense? Lol

He has sublime punching technique and is physically strong.

But I honestly don't think naturally he is a big puncher.

He has hurt guys who are weight drained like Kovalev, but that is about it.

There are no big punchers in the welter weight or middle-weight divisions, accept maybe Golovkin.

Pound for pound it seems like Deontay Wilder is the only big power puncher, with super elite level power.

There is elite level power, then super elite.

He couldn't put down, hurt or stop a lot of guys.
I don't buy he was drained at all.

Now suddenly he's backing up GGG, caving in faces, breaking arms and all sorts.

Something seems a bit off to me
Did you seriously compare 20 year old skinny Canelo’s power to prime Canelo? By your Logic Pacquiao is one of the biggest PED users of all time. As he went from cannot stop a fighter with 4 wins and 7 losses to stopping guys like Dela Hoya and Cotto.

prime nonito donaire was the hardest puncher at 118 lbs that i have ever seen. no one really comes all that close.

you mean to tell me that he aged out of his teens and early 20's and developed the strength of a grown ass man?

he got fined 20% of his purse and was forced to lose an extra quarter of a pound.

you just sound like a hater, dog. most kids that age aren't boxing on your TV, they're in the amateurs or they're off tv in four rounders. and yes, they do gain power in those years. the ****'s wrong with you guys???

                It's obviously the competition

Just look at manny and whoever else takes on top guy after top guy

He still gets the kos when it's a level below

                Look at rocky fielding ect

And they always have the chance to stop a top guy but if they're experienced enough to survive then it'd always going to be difficult

See same thing here ,manny ans canleo are big punchers but when you step down a few levels like ggg with rolls and other guys you look much more powerful

It's all about the competition level

Heck mannys last ko was against Matthysse, again because he stepped down a level

But granted you do get tough guys levels below like Horn

Then you could go to Martin Murray for golovkin ,levels below but tough as nails

                      I'll take the bait...He is!

He goes through all these weights carrying his power up and starts throwing 6-8 punch combinations without stopping to take a breath, throwing a 1,000 punches over 12 rounds all with authority. Then all of a sudden he's questioned, excuses are made, Ariza is sacked and suddenly he's had 1 stoppage in almost 12 years since.

He was on those Ariza shakes.
