Oscar has lost his mind. He couldn’t even beat Felix Sturm at middleweight. That was a gift decision if there ever was one. I’m a fan of the old Oscar but he’s sounding delusional and high AF lately. I think he may end up getting himself hurt badly if he gets back in the ring for any half serious fight.

Oscar is just salty here. Canelo is not a big puncher at all, he wins fights by his speed, skills and endurance.

Obvious sour g****s. Love him or hate him, there's just no way that Oscar's comments parallel reality at all, Canelo's one of the most highly-skilled and tactically astute boxers out there.
For what it's worth, there's no version of Oscar that I'd confidently pick to beat the current version of Canelo.Cecin likes this.

"I think Canelo is like a Mayorga, he's strong, he's strong like an ox, but strong doesn't win fights - and Floyd Mayweather Jr said that from experience [when he beat Canelo in 2013]. Punching power does not win fights, not at all," De La Hoya said.
Canelo is 10 times better than Mayorga ever was! Oscar needs to stop!
