So he went from the future of the sport to being just like Mayorga just because he left Golden Boy??? how can anyone sign with these promoters when they switch up like this?

Mayorga could absolutely be number one pound for pound in this generation.

He wouldnt have been thrown into the fire at a young age and would have been protected after the wins over Six Heads Lewis and Vernon Forrest.

        Probably would have gone 60-0.
except the fact he had 3 losses before he even fought 6 heads

Belfort no sleeper def good striker in mma could be another silva vs chaves jr situation for belfort def not an askren or woodley in the hands n striking dept. Yet of os makes through that then call on mayorga/cotto/ mosley. Then if win call on mayweather pac if neither then cash out with canelo showdown for itd sell huge alot ppl like or starting to like canelo n alot of ppl not a fan pf dlh . plus its a fight thatd sell enough for canelo 40m n dlh 25m paydays unless canelo goes ggg3 beterbiev or possible ward comeback which dlh showdown has better chance

He said "power doesn't win fights" like Canelo's career is just starting. He's multi division world champ already.

Maybe DLH is back using coke.

Oscar's best days were in the 90's . Closed out 1999 with a loss to Felix Trinidad. A close fight. But he lost. After that he lost when he stepped up and had a few decent bouts inbetween. Nothing to write home about. My guess is he got into the blow after Trinidad. Then probably got into stockings and garters after Mosely . Then kitchen utensils after his last bout against Pacquiao.
Now his brain is going and he's out to play " **** the public " for cash game like Mayweather. He wants to play too. He figures his reputation is totally shot anyways so let's take it a step further. I was hesitant to give him a flyer on his blow days taking it up the poop shoot with hookers, but now? Never . He's totally lost my respect now. He's lost his mind.

Well you must be blind, because Vargas isn't more skilled then Canelo

I'm not saying he's wrong in what he's saying, but something is winning those fights. It's not like he's losing. And I can't help but question comparing Canelo to Mayorga...

Hence “wouldn’t be thrown into the fire at a young age.”

That used to happen all the time in boxing. Now it doesn’t happen.

Humberto Aranda was Olympian who fought for a championship at 154 and fought a ton of huge names.

We would never see a prospect today fight anyone who had that kind of boxing talent in their third fight.
