      But he's not.

      Pacquiao is the old legend.

Spence is the young upcoming potential ATG.

Pacquiao is doomed to be retired as history shows.

See if Manny actually beat Spence, that alone would beat most of Floyd's resume at 147. Now that I think about it, Floyd and Pac don't really have spectacular resumes at 147...just kinda meh...Spence would be the 2nd best opponent on Floyd's 147 resume. But here's the thing, I don't know if that could put Pac above Floyd because at the end of the day, Floyd beat Pac. It makes Floyd's win look even better, like wow Pac lost to Floyd in 2015 and 6 years later he's beating guys like Thurman and Spence back to back. It shows that Pac wasn't washed by the time they fought.

did you watch the floyd pac fight though? pac should have won. he landed the much cleaner punches and forced floyd to be so defensive that he only threw out a grazing jab that can hardly be deemed a "clean punch". and you are right he wasnt washed up. now floyd thought pac was washed up but he miscalculated and thats why he wasnt able to do much of anything against pac but run out the clock and get saved by politics. if you really watch the fight closely its not too hard to score. it really isnt. a lot of people were emotional at the time but now its pretty clear its one guy landing clean hard shots and the other guy isnt. there is no rational away to explain that away.

to your other point of that win getting better. jeff horn also beat pac so i dont know if that could put pac above horn because at the end of the day, horn beat pac. it makes horns win look even better. right??? pretty sure most people would say pac is better than horn even though pac got the controversial decision over him. i dont see why the same kind of logic wouldnt apply to floyd and pac. hell marquez knocked out pac and pac is still a much more accomplished ww than marquez.

also beating spence will never be as good as beating baldomir! that was floyds super fight when he was in his prime lol. just bad luck i guess!

what are you on about. If Floyd beat spence at 42 it would be Floyd's best win at 147.
Who cares Floyd beat pac? Pac beating spence and thurman wouldnt makes Floyd s win over pac look better. It would just make people think Pac must have had an off night against floyd, yet still beat floyd in many people's opinions.. When you had 20 more fights and longer career than floyd your more likely to have an off night it's expected and you're forgiven for them

Man it’s ****in crazy how beloved Number 48 Manny Pacquiao is. Errol don’t need to **** around at all here. Even though Errol is Haymon’s prized possession, Errol needs to train like never before, stay away from the booze and beat Manny’s ****in ass bad. A close tit for tat type fight with Manny Pacquiao is bad news.

Which I really don't understand. I mean I kind of understand to a point I guess...obviously they hate Pacquiao. They hate his fans. Some of their hate runs so deep that they would probably celebrate his death. That's how much they hate the guy. So naturally they just want to see Pacquiao fail at every possible opportunity. If Manny goes bowling with his friends on his 43rd birthday party they'd root against him. They'd cheer if his dog died.

But at the end of the day, doesn't Pacquiao enhancing his boxing legacy further enhance Floyd's? I know it goes against every fiber of their very being, and everything they stand and live for (to actually have to god forbid root for Pacquiao), but Pacquiao continuing to add to his already legendary and decorated career is -- you know, actually good for Floyd. By virtue of Floyd's head to head win over Pacquiao. If Manny continues to look good it just gives Floyd's win over him that much more weight. So it baffles me as to why they'd actively want Pacquiao to lose every single fight. If it were up to them they would have wanted Manny to lose every one of his six fights since the Mayweather fight. But then that would have just further and further diminished Floyd's win over him until it meant absolutely nothing.

What I see is all of a sudden Spence is being rated as a future ATG, if thats what you guys think you dont know what youre looking at, Spence is a good strong young champion he hasnt proved anything remotely close to ATG status, he is Ike Quartey level without one-punch KO power, before the fight was made all the Manny fans said was he had to beat TC to be worthy of a Manny fight, that he was an easy beat for Manny blah blah, now its made and Spence is an ATG in the making.Errol has a few miles to go before you can even talk about whether he has at that superstar level, WE DONT KNOW YET, Spences assets are his youth and stamina not his boxing, his boxing is slow deliberate pressure, its not dynamic or explosive.

Manny chose this fight because he knows he has a good shot of beating a slow methodical guy like Spence

Yes, call their bluff. They really want pac to lose every fight because they know whatever pac does, people expect floyd to do also. None of this every fight pac wins, makes Floyd's win over pac look better crap.
they want spence to ko pac in 1 st round

Exactly, Pac is not suppose to win, but if he defies the odds. That's an ATG move fit to close his amazing career.
