Berto scoreDod 3 rounds against Floyd in one of the scorecards when Floyd easily beat him for 12 rounds. Imagine if Thurman was competitive? Good chance Floyd would've gotten robbed. Floyd already had an ATG/legendary career, he can end his 50-0 career with whoever he wanted.

I don't know, maybe that couple million plus who bought Floyd/Pac who got turned off from watching Floyd fight an obvious cherrypick to a boring win and vowed to never watch another Floyd fight unless it was a prime fighter, or maybe his critics who accused him of cherrypicking and backed it up by citing the fact that he fought a washed up c fighter in Berto over a prime hungry lion in Thurman who was calling him out and was his mandatory.

You do realize that former Lighheavy is top ten all time @ Lightheavy and was just as good p4p as Larry was.

So what "they" are you talking about?
So are you insinuating that Floyd was justified in fighting a low risk c class bum because he wanted to preserve his undefeated record?
I've heard it all now. How dare he actually fight a live dog huh.

Yes he can fight whoever the **** he wants in his final fight because he earned it.

Just like how Pac was seriously considering fighting Conor Mcgregor as his opponent, even though he is ACTIVE in his professional career, I would let it slide because Pac earned it

You heard it here first folks. Floyd is justified in fighting c class bums to protect his zero from the man.

Pac is a legend and a true fighter. Floyd is a business man. Look at Pac's interaction with Margarito vs Floyd's interaction with Margarito lol that's all you need to know

Ha. Thurman was in cruise control the whole fight, has one shaky round, and now he was getting the business.

You Floyd Boys really know how to overexaggerate.

May beatting better versions of DLH, Cotto and Mosley
Thurman probably took lopez lightly but when you fight Pac you bring your A game.
Just because may makes his opponents look like they are better versions and makes hard work of them don't mean they were better. Pac can't help he makes common opponents look like bums. Just because maidana looked elite against Floyd don't mean maidana was.

I could never put Pac above Mayweather, but IF he beats Spence in his prime (huge "if" no doubt), that more than evens out losing to Mayweather and I will not put Mayweather above him anymore. Straight up peers.

After beating Canelo, Pacquiao, Cotto, Maidana in the last decade he could take a Berto fight for his last fight. I mean Berto is around the same level of a lot of Pac's opponents last decade, if not a bit better

....none of those guys were in their prime so why you think that was such a great task is the funny part....

I don't think Floyd is the best boxer to ever exist, just the clear #1 of his generation IMO

Too many great boxers to say one has to be #1. All of them were in their primer closer than Floyd, which makes it even greater.
