Roberto Duran 5 Best Wins. Is he really….

Is Roberto Duran a bit over rated? What are Roberto Duran 5 best wins? Let’s really look at his resume. Some say he’s top 5. Some say his notable wins aren’t that impressive. What do you think?

His prime was in the 70s, long before the Four Kings era. Ernesto Marcel, Ken Buchanan, Hiroshi Kobayashi, Guts Ishimatsu, Esteban de Jesus, Saoul Mamby, Carlos Palomino.

I would say off the top of my head:

      Carlos Palomino (Hall Of Famer)
      Ken Buchanan (Hall Of Famer)
      Iran Barkley
Davey Moore (Recently Inducted In The Hall Finally)

Duran legacy is largely based on what he was able to Accomplished at 135 back in the 70's which is why he is STILL Considered by most the Greatest Lightweight Of All Times

If he had the discipline of a Mayweather, who knows how much even better he could've been.

You can fill his top 5 before he even moved up from 135. This is why he's considered the greatest lightweight of all time.

Then you have Leonard at 147, Moore at 154, Barkley at 168 are the names that the stick out to other guys.

then do it that’s what this thread is for.

Joe Gans Benny Leonard Ike Williams Mosley Mayweather Jr Aaron Pryor Carlos Ortiz Whitaker could even throw Armstrong name in there.
No way you could call one person the greatest lightweight. It’s too many greats to say that.

Nothing spectacular about that list at all.
