True but that Kalule win was huge. Then he got a showcase fight against a tough but beatable guy and he did well.

That is the thing- this generation. Davey Moore’s 11-0 can’t be judged by today’s standards.

How many dudes with 10 fights are defending their world title for the 3rd time against a former world champ with 40 pro fights, 4 title defenses and his only loss to Ray Leonard?

The modern fighter with that many world title defenses under 11 fights is Loma who, despite the Teo loss, is a top 10 p4p boxer in the sport.
Happens alot overseas. By his tenth fight, Ioka was unified champ, winning the WBA in his tenth fight, having defended the WBC four times. But guys are less likely to take risks in North America and the UK.

I mentioned Canelo in response to Ghost bringing up Floyd Weight draining. Get out of your emotions and use your reading comprehension skills. If you don’t like the thread gtfo and start your own.

What am I going to start my own for? "Idiot troll makes thread to bash legends resume without having watched a fight?"

people can see your idiot thread and comment. Don't need me pointing it out.

his whole goal was to talk about how floyd and duran arent held to the same standard. the problem is when you hold them to the same standard duran looks much better. look at all the guys duran fought in their primes: leonard, hearns, benitez, hagler, buchanan, de jesus, palomino, moore, barkley, and more. if we wanted to twist and turn durans resume using floyd standards we would say duran beat saoul mamby who went on to be the #1 fighter at 140 years after losing to duran isnt that amazing! floyd pretzel logic.

Canelo was prime 23 yrs old 40-0 and nearly 10years as a professional fighter. Floyd was 4 months away from being 37yrs old and on the downside of his career. Olympics don’t mean a damn thing when you get to the pros.

So Canelo turned pro at 13?

Kind of feels like you’re lying.

FTR, Canelo wasn’t green whatsoever he was an undefeated world champion with several defences but he wasn’t in his prime either both physically and from a boxing perspective. Canelo is clearly a far better fighter now than he was in 2013.

“Happens a lot overseas.” Another broad statement that can’t be proven. Ioka are you talking about the guy who fights at flyweight? Lmao you guys are hilarious. Is that the only example you have?
