Ticket sales wont be his concern on his next fight because he's fighting a marquee. What he needs to be concerned about is his power on the table for the next show.Pac/cotto can run him down on the lack of sales and have a better bargain.Just as floyd used that tactic against boxers for years..."oh he doesnt bring sales,he cant sell tickets etc etc".

dudes like you who say, "i want to see him fight the best," are really only saying, "i won't be happy till he loses..."

how do you give a dude grief for fighting the second ranked fighter on the p4p list, after a 2-year layoff?
why doesnt Floyd atleast fight the second ranked WW...?

cuz the second ranked p4p fighter is....smaller and older.... it isnt rocket science.

"The Biggest Draw in Boxing" can't sell tickets to a fight against the #2 P4P! What a joke this guy has become!

Of course this fight is not going to have ahuge drawing!!! Not d point!

This is floyds warm up since retiring. With that said floyd has done larger # with both delahoya & hatton. Cotto vs pac is going to sell a hell of alot better come on. That is a ****** comparison. Say what you say but floyd is a mega star in boxing. If manny loses to cotto it will damn hard to land the fight with floyd on $ agreement.

my only problem with pbf/jmm are these:

                1) pbf should've fought jmm at 140 lbs. (I admit, I was among those who said pbf could still make 140 lbs easy / pbf is a small WW, but floyd made me look ******.)

                2) pbf/jmm shouldn't be a ppv, it should be HBO WCB.

You act like you're going to recieve a percentage of his purse.

The fact of this matter is that Floyd loses a lot of his bargaining power with this. Low ticket sales, and what I think will be less than stellar PPV sales (I will be ordering anyways, its a good card) will show that he has only played B-side in mega fights successfully.

Eventually, people are going to want to see Pacquiao-Mayweather (barring they both lose), and when the time for negotiations begin Floyd will have lost the upper hand and will have to settle for what he can get.

He just isn't the draw that he or his people think he is. You're persona can only sell so much, you have to deliver in the ring, which Floyd simply doesn't do, as far as entertainment to casual watchers.

Nah PBF didn't make you look ******. You don't need anyone to make you look ******, you do a fine job of that by yourself.

How quickly they change their tune once they realize Floyd is not this cash cow. I Love it.

                      Go back to doghouse.

You're a bum there and moving locations isn't going to change that.
