Please, be real if Floyd-Marquez was selling like crazy every biased Floyd fan on here would be making 100 threads a day about why Pac isn't a draw and Floyd is the best draw ever.

Never have I seen so much talk about Tickets and PPV numbers for a fight ever, usually you get "the fight has sold out" article or nothing, and a article about the results of everything after the fight. But not here, never seen this before where people want to break down sales everyday.

Eh.. I have heard Floyd admit out of his own mouth that he doesn't do the best at gate. Does not mean that either guy in the Cotto Pac showdown is a bigger draw head to head. I think Pac and Floyd bring the most to the table as far as PPV drawing power in boxing today. Not too shabby.

Marquez got a whole country behind his back.

But does that country buy PPVs?

I know that Pac's followers buy a ton of PPVs....but what has been Marquez's biggest PPV #s? I believe that it was Marquez/ Pac II....that did about what 425K+ buys? Not bad for two fighters who aren't American, don't have a huge American fan base and two fighters who don't speak English as their primary language.

Hmm....Pacquiao #1 is a Jr. Welter (140 lbs.) could've fought Floyd at a catachweight too, Marquez # 2 is a Lightweight (135lbs.), Shane Mosley # 4 is a WW (147lbs and Floyd's most recent and "natural" division), Miguel Cotto # 8 is a WW (see Mosley), Paul Williams #10 is a beast (147lbs, 154lbs, 160lbs.) Floyd fights at 147lbs, fought Oscar at 154lbs (even though he came into the fight @ 150).....so people can give him all the grief he can handle due his antics and self proclamations of "being the best" while choosing to answer the call of Pacquiao's #1 nemesis....with the mindset...."If I beat Marquez's ass better than Pacquiao....that'll prove I'm better than the current #1 guy".

If fighter A (Cotto/ Pacquiao) beat fighter B (Mosley/Marquez) than fighter C (Margocheato/Mayweather) who beat fighter A should easily beat fighter B and be considered the BEST. Well we all know what happened there....and hopefully Floyd doesn't fall for that formula......oh wait.....Mayweather has never fought any of the above fighters.....except for the LW Champ...who he MADE BULK UP, and knows he is stronger, faster, younger, the better counter puncher, and has the better defense.

Could've fought a "lower ranked" p4p fighter out there in his own weight class and NO ONE WOULD"VE GIVEN FLOYD ANY GRIEF......anyone else who tells you differrent is what you would classify as a hater....
