If this fight was at a competitive weight, I think more Marquez fans would come out to see the fight. But to see Floyd fight a blown up featherweight, it's a sham. Baldomir vs Mayweather was a joke, Hatton vs Mayweather was only a fight to Mayweathers (few) fans and Hatton's army. Any one with sense knew Hatton was gonna get blown out. I mean the guy was gettin rocked by lesser opponents.

But yeah, if this fight was going to take place at a equally strong weight for Marquez, I think more of his fans would show up.

its impossible for JMM-Pbf to make more PPV sales as the fight is going to be shown on theaters nationwide. one ticket in my area would only cost $12.....this clearly shows that GBP-mayweather promotions is doing the best it can to market this fight to no avail.....

and yes I would be watching this fight on the big screen as nobody wants to watch this with me on PPV....

Who want to say the big mouth of Gayweather in action? The Ugly ***** only had to good sell thanks to Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton. Fans are not ******; I do not see why this miserable bit is placed in the P4P list when she has not fight for almost 2 years. Boxer when they retired should start from scratch 0. You have to prove how good you are, not by this ****** boxing writers which does not have any idea how to vote and because they are in love of this ***** vote for him. This fight going to prove that Gayweather is not body and the only reason she is in the top is for some ******ed sport writers that vote for him. Gayweather will have a lot of empty chairs.

These kind of articles are simply a waste of time and bad propaganda for the sport. Does it matter which bout generates the most ppv's or which seats are "the" most expensive? For the true fan of boxing all of this money talk is completely irrelevant... A good fight, a good matchup is nothing more than that, a fight we're excited about and look forward too, period. These negative articles that speak of comparisons of revenues before a bout only enhances the corporate power itself. They are the reason why promoters can get away with creating matches for the larger profit and the larger profit only unlike the most logical and requested fights by us, the boxing audience..

It matter because everything that comes out of Floyd's mouth is about how much a draw he is. He has used the excuse of being too much a draw to avoid a lot of fighters. If this fight gets blown out of the water by Pacquiao-Cotto he will not have that excuse an all his excuses will be shown to be just that. The determination of the purse split for a fight is based on these numbers, and a crappy showing will leave Floyd with no choice but to take less of the split unless he prices himself out of any big fights.
