Conversely, that’s part of the reason his technical ability is so impressive though, even when he was overweight and out of shape he was still outboxing much bigger men.

It’s a shame Toney lacked the discipline though, although he still had a great career he could have achieved a lot more IMO. The early 90’s Toney was special man.

Floyd loved that stab jab to the body. Was a great range finder for him. It was my favourite shot as an amateur too, I used to get caught a lot when I threw it though.

Thats why I could never see him as "TBE"
How do you call yourself the best P4P when every opponent was either shorter or had short arms/reach. When was the last time Floyd had to work his way inside against a good tall elite boxer? Probably the closest was Oscar de la hoya, and even then I think Floyd had longer arms + Oscar never fought tall. SRL managed to do it against Hearns, and even guys like Donny Lalonde. Pacquiao's done it his entire career.

It reminds me of Teo after his fight with Nakatani, he said no more tall guys lol

Floyd fought plenty of opponents that were tall/rangy or a combination of both.
Pep was like Paul Williams size. Oscar was as tall, equally as long and had a great jab. Corrales was tall and long, Ndou also.
I don't really want to mention him but Conor is also taller & had a much longer reach than Floyd.

What a dumb ass ***** you are.

Real ****ing simpleton like you make anyone with a ****ing brain look bad everytime you open your ****ing mouth. I am NOT a fan of Floyd, but a ****ing simpleton like yourself really thinks I'm defending him.

I'm ****ing talking boxing you ****ing ******. I don't care about your personal beef with him. I don't care where he hurt you.

Defensive minded fighters don't need a double jab because he's not looking to engage. Hence the point.

A shorter fighter can fight on the outside all ****ing day if he has the tools to do so because reach is NOT everything. Movement and reflexes allow you to fight on the outside too but a real ****ing simpleton like yourself wouldn't be able to understand **** like that.

You're nothing but a straight up ******ed ****ing hater.

nah. floyd was just an average boxer a product of media hype and he was protected by the judges, referees and commission to preserved his undefeated.
