So you need sufficient time to train and plan for the fight.
    Logic FAIL.

Of course if you dont have a long enough training camp that's never a good thing. But training for too long is 1 of the most overused scapegoats in boxing.

Its not so much the length of training camp but the intensity of training camp that burns a fighter out and causes him to peak early.

If you and I are from the same camp and we have fights on the same day. We start a 12 week camp together. For the first month I do some light muscle building to improve durabilty and learn proper technique for new weapons to add to the arsenal. Meanwhile you've been goin full bore the entire time and in sparring already with 8 weeks still left before the fight. Guess who's more likely to peak early even though we had the same length camp.

Same thing is going on with Pac and Cotto. Both are professionals and both are smart about their bodies. Cotto started his camp already but not really doin anything it but building up a good sweat just for the sake of doin so. Pac may start his camp later but go at his usual cutthroat pace and they will both be in peak condition by fight time. The only reason Roach wants Pacquiao to start training camp already is to ensure that Pac has the proper mechanics down for the combinations he has stored for his Cotto gameplan 1st before goin full speed.

This is what happens when you get a Trainer with Herpes

So Roach thinks PacMan needs more work on his gameplan...hmm, i think he just wants more Press. Manny has been fighting the same exact way since Barrera and the only thing different is he keeps his guard up now. Manny basically jumps in with alot of punches and when he gets hit he raises his hands in the air. How much more work does he need on that? When Manny learns how to fight while backing up then i will be impressed. Roach reminds me of Barry Switzer when he thought he was a great coach because he inherited the Cowboys and won a Championship. Roach is Just a Trainer no matter how much he enjoys the fame or feels like the Champion. Does Roach really think Manny is going to stop making First rate Action Films that Chuck Norris would be jealous of. I think its time Roach just died of herpes already.

Pac and his leeches are ripe for a downfall. Pac has surrounded himslef with idiot yesman who are just there to leech off of his money. I hope for Pacs sake that's he rids himself of these ******s after he gets KTFO by Cotto.

Cotto is already in training camp and sparring while Pac is over there getting jerked off by his lawyer, it's already September and the fights is signed and sealed, I'm rooting for COTTO but i want it to be an exciting fight, but if the rumors are true and Manny is just chillin then we could see a reverse effect of the Hatton fight and see Manny knock senseless, which would be the funniest thing ever.
