Curious..are you talking about Pac saying those things? Or Roach's statements? I don't ever recall Pac EVER saying or predicting the outcome of a fight.....

I love how this fight has been filled with drama and anxiety. As far as the Pac thing with his team it is very screwed up that Roach has not been able to talk to his fighter and that Konkz or however it is his name talking down Roach as just a trainer. But that part is there drama to settle up.

The only thing that is starting to rise attention is that we are 10 weeks and a half off the fight night and they have not sat down to set a camp. They still have 2 weeks and a half till the training starts and roach already has sparing partners so it is not a far fetched time frame.

My guess that this drama between Pac entourage and Roach is just fumes from a problem that Could happen, but I expect not to happen. If it does happen it could spell a lot of trouble for pac when fight night comes.

If by 1 more week and a half this circus continues then the fumes could ignite.

10 weeks and a half till fight night..... we are getting there!!!!

Roach needs to STFU and quit putting Team Pac's private business in the media.....

I've been noticing that it's almost a certain "given" that when a Manny P fight is approaching, the Roach will say something controversial, indicating argument, difference-of-opinion, rift etc. This heightens the interest in the fight, also keeps the Roach in the spotlight which he loves etc.

I can't see the Roach giving up his trainer position with Manny without a HUGE fight, it's just not on the cards. Ever since his "political" dabbling during the Golden Balls fiasco, he's been insinuating himself into matters which are really not his business. I'ts true, he's only the trainer, but makes xpronouncements from "on high' as if he were the trainer/manager/promoter all wrapped up in a little cuddly bundle.

Since he made that terrific (for himself) deal of 10% of Manny's purses, he's been, literally, "in clover". Manny's success made the Roach's reputation, bringing him from being a mediocre trainer to one of the sport's elite.

Frankly, although I suppose that he's a good fellow, doesn't beat his wife, doesn't get parking tickets, he gives me a pain. He should concentrate on doing what he's employed to do.
