I love these comment sections.... seriously strange people are fans of these two fighters. Makes for some TNT loaded craziness. Wouldn't miss it for the world.
Personally, I was fine with Fury trying to ditch the trilogy fight. First off, the fight with Joshua was bigger. Second, there is not a ton of intrigue to be had in a third fight as Fury so dominated the second bout it is a hard sell. Third, Wilder insulted every aspect of Fury's legit win- Fury cheated, Wilder's corner betrayed him, and his moronic Gladiator ring-walk get-up ruined his legs, despite being a professional athlete that chose it himself. Lastly, Wilder and his team did not respond to repeated attempts to set up the third fight after a couple of legit postponements. Add those up and I was glad Fury told him to pound sand.
That Fury was trying to avoid him is 100% true. The reasons why were 100% legit.
