Pacquiao is one of the most decorated fighters (arguably the most decorated actually) of all-time. In the entire history of the sport. Yeah he's 42 (which is absurd btw), but as of his last appearance in the ring he displayed that he's still one of the best welterweight boxers on the planet.

So I'm not sure why Spence not "wrecking" Pacquiao would make him a laughing stock. Man for all that Pacquiao has accomplished in his amazing career, it still blows my mind how little respect he gets from some people. It's impossible for me to understand it. I mean when it's all said & done the guy will forever be mentioned with the greatest boxers who ever graced a boxing ring. He'll be in the boxing hall of fame in the very first second he's eligible.

By the way, Spence went life & death with Shawn Porter, so I don't see how it's completely inconceivable that the great Manny Pacquiao, even at 42 -- couldn't bring Spence into similar deep waters. This is Manny Pacquiao were talking about for God's sake. This isn't Amir Khan we're talking about here.

All of that is true about Pacquiao but this just seems like one of those boxing matches in history where a truly elite young stud ends the career of a legend. Like countless times before.
