Spence via murder... Spence looked sharp against DSG, how much more can he do against a 25-month inactive old part-time boxer?
He looked average against DSG, and couldn't even knockout Garcia and Porter. But he's gonna "murder" Manny? **** outta here...

Pacquiao is 42 years old, this fight is a joke straight up.

Hopkins was no slouch either but an old dog is still an old dog and Spence is supposed to be the one of the kings of boxing, so to speak. One of the best in this current generation of boxing talent. So with that, if Pac won, it is really saying a ton about Pacquiao as possibly the greatest boxer of all time and also Spence, who would be nothing less than 'exposed' as people say.

I read a ways back that if Spence and Pacquiao fought, it would be a fight that establishes the Lineal champion reign at 147.

I figure that is why this fight is happening. Spence (the unified 147 champ) and Pacquiao (the last unified champ) would establish a new lineal champion in the division.

Which is just a sentimental title but it does also hold deep value in the world of boxing.

Given that if Spence won (I don't think this next part applies to Pacquiao much, it's mostly for Spence but who knows) he would undoubtedly target Ugas next for his WBA title. Which then (if he won) would make him the WBC, WBA, IBF, and Lineal Welterweight champion of the world.

That's HUGE standing for Spence at that point. That's a legacy established.

Who do you think will win Spoon?[/QUOTE]

In my book. If this was a prime Pac against Spence. Pac kills him in 5 rounds.

Now that he is old, and a big question mark to how much a 2 year layoff @ age 42 will affect his conditioning remains to be seen. But if the Pac that fought Thurman shows up in the Spence fight I give Pac a 60/40 shot at winning. In the Thurman fight. Pac was already steam rolling Thurman but lost steam due to stamina depleting in the later rounds due to his age. That's why I know Pac is cut above the rest since, if his youth was still there when he fought Thurman. Thurman would have not seen the final round.

Now that Pac is almost @ age 43 when the fight happens in Aug. There's underlying questions that only during fight night will be answered. Has his timing and speed declined a bit? Is his stamina still the same as the Thurman fight? Heck I'm even worried if the covid vaccine affect his health.. Since those vaccines will give a patient antibodies made out of Sars strain.. Virus that attacks the bodies system. That can weaken an old dogs body. Those are my worries.

That said, if a Pacman that is as good as Thurman shows up. With Pac's speed, angles and power, and just enough stamina to win. I give him a 60/40 shot. Since Spence is flat footed and slower. He plants his feet when he throws bombs. Pac won't be there when he plants his feet to land bombs.

Pac will time him in and out, and find that opening and land those heavy shots that will buckle Spence. He will feel Pac's power and when that happens his game of coming forward will stop, (just as previous opponents of Pac have experienced) and he'll be backing on the ropes as Pac press him in the inside.

In a phone booth or toe to toe exchange. Pac wins. Spence should stay in the outside coz if he let's Pac get in a close exchange. Pac will win those exchanges with his shorter faster hands.

Spence will test Pac's body. If he lands a lot of those bombs. It can turned the tide for him..

Thus, I believe, if an older version shows up than the Thurman fight. I give Pac a 50/50 chance of winning. But if the same Pac that fought Thurman shows up. I give Pac 60/40 chance of winning.

Spence, maybe a prime fighter. But an old school vet who still has power (Last thing that leaves a fighter) and enough speed. Comparing DSG speed, Porter during the Spence fight. Pac has more speed and angles than DSG or Porter. That in itself gives me confidence he can dance with Spence. Pac is dynamic. What he can do in the ring cannot be done by DSG Porter, and the even more slower moving Mikey Garcia. Imagine these boxers are all in their prime and yet Pac is still faster @ almost 43 years old. Just shows that Pac is cut above the rest.

I can see this is a tit for tat fight. Both will have their moments. But if Pac's stamina is sufficient. His speed and angles will win him this fight on the other hand, if Pac withers in the later rounds. Pac can lose this fight easily. That's my take.
