[QUOTE=JAB5239;5994551]I mean this is a ridiculous question from a very knowledgeable poster. Unless its a bait thread.
For the people that voted hamed i want you guys to find knockouts by hamed that surpass this;
No not a bait thread my friend. A real question posed to illicit some serious discussion.
I love Pac, but I truly believe Hamed was the better puncher p4p. Had he had Manny's drive he might have been an all time great.
i just cant see it. im not flip nor brit, but i do love pac & i do hate hamed.
but considering almost every fight that pac is in, the fighters from 112 to 147
almost everyone of them are either;
bleeding, cut, knocked down, nose broken, & rendered unconscious. Take the much maligned oscar & david diaz wins. everybody ****s on the the diaz win as if he was a nobody but this is a guy who has a very very good chin. he beat zab judah at the olympic trials, ktfo santa cruz, & went 8 very game rounds before getting tko'd by a heavy handed kendall holt.
the oscar win, weight drained or not, got wobbled by pacquiao & his face was swollen.
could hamed equal these things?
I dont think so.
as for manny steward saying he punches hard, of course he trained him. he will have a favorable opinion on naz's punching power. he has worked the mitts with him. now if steward also did the same with pac & he still said naz hits harder then i defer.Comment

hameds so called 'punching power" got sonned by barrera...Comment

this one is a toughy... Naseem never fought the type of competition Pacquiao has though so his power can be questioned as to wether it was due to who he was fighting & Pacquiao has carried his power through multiple weight classes though so I'll have to go with Pacquiao.Comment

This is what Im talking about right here. Outside of the Hatton fight this is exactly what Manny's ko's were based on. Not the one punch power like Hamed had.Comment
