This was completely predictable and expected, the only reason Usyk's mando wasn't ordered already was the undisputed.

Why would Joshua drop the WBO belt when Fury has just been told legally he has to fight Wilder, and why would anyone trust Arum to be able to resolve the Wilder rematch situation now when he has had the last year to and failed.

If Fury could just drop the WBC belt and the fight could go ahead, maybe Joshua would do it because the $200M deal is there, but that isn't the case, unless Wilder steps aside Fury can only fight Wilder next, belt or not, networks wouldn't broadcast Fury v Joshua against a court order.

Looks like Fury has to fight Wilder again, and so obviously Joshua will take the Usyk mando, this way if both win fair chance both Joshua v Fury fights will be for undisputed as they wouldn't have to drop the WBO immediately after the first fight as was the case previously.

It does indeed look as though Fury will be fighting Wilder after the arbitration decision, but it's not cast in stone.

For example, if Joshua commits to fighting Usyk and the WBO announces this is now their mandated fight and then Wilder suddenly steps away for whatever reason, it's total kick in the balls time. I'd guess they're still furiously exploring what the various options are that might somehow keep all the moving parts balanced to allow the Joshua/Fury fight -- trying to work out if Wilder is just trying to leverage more money or if he genuinely only wants the fight and nothing else. If he will take money, how much will do it and does that work with the economics of everyone else getting the slice of the pie they want and so on. The chances do seem extremely slim though at this moment in time of the undisputed clash going head.

Remember last year when the talk was all how Joshua just needs to take care of Pulev and Fury just needs to take care of Wilder and then we can have the undisputed? Joshua did his bit. Fury really has not done his bit.
Thats why I don't really understand the point of seeing the details of AJ vs Fury. They should be asking to see the details of the arbitration if anything & if thats legit then obviously AJ vs Fury can't legally happen.

It definitely sucks that everything was allegedly sorted & then bam its all seemingly dead in the water, but idk why they'd even try to make this date happen if the arbitration could kill it. Hell from most accounts I saw the arbitration was even talked about as a payout type situation that wouldn't impact anyones fights. So obviously that much was a lie & obviously Bob, Warren & Fury HAD to know that much was potentially in play.

Either Hearn is a clown or Arum and Warren have him looking really ******. You should have ZERO issues with a superstar Heavyweight and him getting fights and retaining his belts. Running behind Canelo who most don't like and think he's a fraud, rigged fighter other than his nationalistic audience.

if I was Anthony Joshua I would just say screw the WBO belt and ditch it. He doesn't need it now since there will be no undisputed bout. Tyson Fury just threw an entire monkey wrench into that scenario by still being contractually signed to fight Deontay Wilder. Fury lied to AJ. His rematch clause with Wilder hadn't expired. He tried to breach the contract. He just strung my man along for several months for a sell of bill of goods on which he never intended on delivering.

And if Joshua loses, then he has to rematch Usyk to get the shine back. Then we're talking about Fury-Joshua in late 2022.
Yep and provided that Wilder doesn't knock out Fury.

Avoiding the Wilder fight is like a walk in a park for someone who has already avoided a contracted Wlad rematch and literally any kind of title defense...ever!
Fury can't because the arbitrator has placed a permanent injunction on all of Tyson Fury's future bouts until he fights Deontay Wilder next. Therefore and because of it, that August 14 Joshua/Fury undisputed bout has already been canceled.

At this point, who the fuck needs Tyson Fury? The guy's a fucking clown! Also, as far as Usyk is concerned; He is a very dangerous opponent for AJ. There is no guarantee that Joshua defeats him. Anthony must be willing to take more risks and chances in the ring if he does defeat him though. If it's a tactical bout, then Usyk could make things very interesting for him.

all Joshua has to do is walk the Ukraniane down, walk through his average punching power, corner him and unload some good shots. it will look like the Monty Python skit "the faculty versus the students Rugby match." Chisora almost caught lerch with slow looping shots... Joshua just has to grow a pair and assert himself.

Pathetic. Hearn has to go down in history as the worst match maker ever.

So, you want Joshua to screw the WBO and Usyk and do what? fight whom? How many fights are there for Joshua that are more lucrative than Usyk? Neither of Wilder or Fury will be available if they are fighting each other.
