The Covid situation falls under Force Majeure. However Wilder was the one claiming not being ready and injured through that time period regardless what was said on either side . In the end this seemed purposeful dragged out which says the fix was in here regardless because they know they can’t stop an undisputed fight and delaying it doesn’t hurt Wilder in no rush to bounce back .

Im not going to say much more Arum was right all along and got stiffed here but it’s on,y an inconvenience . I look forward to the undisputed on August 14th let’s hope Fury is still on board because it’s in his court now ,he’s got the green light from Arum .

It doesn't fall under any precedent, it's like all bs rulings dependant on misinterpreting precedent. Lockdowns didn't last the entirety of the contract,so it was still Wilder fault for not fighting, regardless if he would've lost money,he could've still fought in the allotted timeframe but didn't. That shouldn't mean hes allowed to extend a contract that had no provisions for acts of god(its no different than when insurance companies got to screw ppl over in Katrina) acts of god shouldn't void a set in stone agreement (unless you're a commie who thinks covid gives government free reign to void laws/rights/contracts at will like this lbj judge is)

Think about how many companies lost millions due to set in stone contracts during covid, they didn't get to void those contracts due to covid, why should Wilder?

Honestly I was going with what Team Fury were saying, I would rather them than bunch of cultists on social media.

What is done is done, let’s all rejoice that again the undisputed at HW has been stopped by Wilder, since 2015 when he was a “Baby Champion or prospect” as per his own manager, we have been denied the chance to see an undisputed champ at this weight.

Even when offered significant amounts of money he never had the ambitions to be great. He was content fighting bums, cherry picking weak opponents rather than unify or fight for the undisputed fight.

Hopefully this fight comes off in July, he cannot go into another hibernation again. They have a date booked for the 24th of July, let’s see what the excuse is this time around.

Anything that PBC touches is mainly phucked up. Unless everything is on their side like the 154 scenario with Jermell.

Acts of god or natural disasters or epidemic falls under Force Majeure however other fights were happening so a court can’t really use one event and ignore others . The thing is Wilder stated he was injured multiple times and no time did Wilder show anything suggesting he wanted to fight Fury until that contract expired . The fact is Team Wilder suggested the deadline not team Fury . The timeline that expired well over 8 months ago ? Lol

Good try though bud. I almost believed, for like a second, you're too ****** to realize I'm fully aware I make fun of Wilder in my sig. I think the irony of it is a cute touch, throws one of their guard for a split.

I predicted that arbitration was going to be an issue because its common ****ing sense. Lets even say that the judge was wrong, surely you would have concerns that said case still lingered and that Arum and Fury absolutely refused to speak on it...

The people claiming Wilder couldn't win the case weren't legal experts. I remember debating with guys on here who were saying "Bob's a lawyer, so he would know if the contract expired". Like contracts are ever that Black and White. They couldn't comprehend that contracts are complex enough to actually need interpretation.

FWIW I hoped that Team Fury had done all they should. It's pretty apparent that they didn't. Why they didn't is less clear.

It's going to be close to 18 months between fights. The only time a lawyer can't get you out of a situation like that is when you've either deliberately tried to fk the other party over or you've completely mismanaged the administering of the contract.
