Lmao no. Stop it. Canelo’s power is average at best. A tier below Golovkin’s power. If you saw the Jacobs fight, Jacobs was backing Canelo up in the later rounds because Nelo couldn’t hurt him. Jacobs respected Rosado’s power more.

Just like when Hopkins was gonna move up to Oleg maskaev and how Andre Ward wanted solely Joshua. Much like toney and Jones picked on John Ruiz. Who do y'all think of that Canelo should fight at heavyweight in your opinion?

Lol, that's a good matchup! Do you think nelo could pull it off? I heard Oquendo had Dibbs on that. Anyway isn't charr the 3rd longest reigning wba hw champion ever? Lol... Correct me if I'm wrong

In theory yes. He hits hard enough to hurt people.

In practice, no. He hits hard because he's prepared to step on his punches. He'd be a brave man to do that with a 200+ pound heavyweight in range.

How hard he hits is as much to do with what's coming back as it is his actual strength and speed.

He hits hard enough to hurt Callum Smith and Saunders, yes. he couldn`t even hurt GGG at 160.

Please, Canelo is not Mike Tyson. Mike was probably around 180 when he was 15 years old, lol.

                  Effectively, no.

He would have to load up on his punches for them to feel it which will end up leaving him open.

                    He’s not some huge puncher

yeah he caused injury to Saunders through catching him in the perfect spot, but he caught him flush with other shots and never wobbled him. He couldn’t even drop him with one eye.

when is the last time Canelo stopped a good fighter by really putting their lights out? Khan? He couldn’t take a shot at 135.

Canelo is a sharp and accurate puncher, but you rarely see him hit fighters and their legs go, like when a big puncher hits fighters.

He gets stopped by Beterbiev at LH, so the answer is "not a chance".
