DAZN please. PPV is so 2019. Especially when it’s the anticlimactic end to Canelo’s 168 sweep. Easy work!

So basically you're saying he's telling the truth!
That guy is definitely a weirdo lol. He is weirdly obsessed with Hearn, constantly hates on him and DAZN and I think its mostly because he perceives it as a foreign invasion or something. Hates on brits, defends everything that is coming from the US, obsessed with race, accuses everyone who is critical about PBC to be white supremacists.
You find him in every thread that involves Hearn or DAZN. Literally.Comment

Is Plant the lucky one getting to be the last with a belt? Will he be able to hold out for the most? Best for last etc? If he stalls will Nelo start having mandatory fights to deal with? Pay offs? Or because it’s another belt he’s going after will there be plenty of wiggle room? Will being American help Plant? Not that he is even well known. Will Plant even risk fighting someone else? I wonder how much the situation benefits Plant? He can bring Canelo back to vegas. That worth something? Anybody willing to throw what they expect Plant will be able to get for the fight? $6mill? $10mill? More?Comment

This fight will be on FOX PPV. Al will remind Canelo of what he did for Floyd's career and how he was the natural 'next man up' after Floyd left to be the PPV king. Canelo's star power is to big for him to MAX out at 35 million. He should be thinking about no less than 100 mill minimum per fight. He's doing himself a disservice by letting Hearn lead negotiations with Al/FOX. Hearn will be negotiating unfairly on Canelo's behalf because he wants the fight on DAZN. That's like asking a BMW car salesman to walk over to a BENZ dealership and help me buy a car. Of course he's going to give bad advice because he wants you to walk back 'across the street' and buy a BMW. You would think after dealing with Oscar's crooked azz he would retain the best representatives that put his interest first and foremost. I guess he hasn't learned yet. But don't worry boys and girls this fight will be on FOX. Lil dazn doesn't have the resources to compete with FOX. I don't care how rich the owner of Dazn is, FOX is owned by THE DISNEY CORP. NUFF SAID! A 3 fight PPV run at Plant, Benevidez and Charlo will generate about the same amount as that 365 mill Dazn contract he had. If he does that and wins all three, then be comes not only the biggest boxer on the planet but one of the biggest stars on the planetComment

DAZN is the only one willing to overpay for clenelo garbage. 15-1 underdog plant is not PPV worthy.Comment

They all have people that irk me in different ways. Andre Ward on ESPN is very good, Bradley is kind of OK though a little repetitive (and genuinely struggles with certain names). Tessitore is not bad and Kriegl, similarly, is decent to listen to. Max Kellerman, however, is a prize knob. He is the Chris Mannix of ESPN.
On DAZN, I liked Froch a great deal for the Canelo fight. DAZN also has Michael Buffer as ring announcer, which counts for something. Not a fan of Diamante. Sergio Mora is all right. Mannix is a knob. Kate Abdo is pretty and a nice girl but isn't up to speed -- last fight, she was sitting next to Mannix and announced a link saying they were going to Chris Mannix then realised he was right next to her... They need an anchor with charisma and authority.
It's a real shame that the HBO guys aren't involved anymore. Lampley was great.Comment

Well that's just protocol. You sign with a promoter to challenge for a title and if you win you owe that promoter options on your future fights. That way the fighter gets what he wants and the promoter gets what he wants. That's how they all operate. It's similar to Eddie Hearn and Canelo Alvarez. Canelo wanted to challenge for the WBA Super middleweight championship held by Callum Smith at the time but it came at a cost. He had to give Eddie Hearn what he wanted also. Which was a pair of options on his future fights. Promoters are not going to allow fighters to come in to take their titles away without defending them at least more than once while promoting them.Comment

He's going to get it too. If Canelo really wants that IBF title badly enough to make history by becoming boxing's first Undisputed Super Middleweight champion of Mexican descent because there's no chance in Hell that this fight happens on DAZN. It's the PBC and Fox who holds all the cards and leverage now and not Eddie Hearn or DAZN because they don't own a piece of the IBF Super middleweight title but Al Haymon does. Just like Hearn got a pair of options on Canelo's future fights after defeating his fighter Callum Smith for the WBA Super middleweight title. Likewise, Al Haymon; If Canelo defeats Plant would want a pair of options on Canelo's future fights also. That way Canelo gets what he wants and Al Haymon gets what he wants. In other words, Al Haymon has Canelo Alvarez by the balls.Haymon will want Canelo to sign a 2-fight or multi-deal, or No Plant.
PBC Fanboys don’t get that Haymon and Fox lose if they are hosting an Undisputed Championship while Canelo just goes back to DAZN thereafter. It means the dummies that bought a $80 PPV will follow the new Undisputed fighter to a $20 platform. Haymonites are idiots.
this will be on DAZN. Haymon’s not going to let Canelo just wreck his business and stage a one Plant fight on Fox.
