It is crazy though. Would you do business again with a company or individual who breached a contract with you? Not only that they purposely went out to sabotage the relationship. Would you or any rational person continue doing business with someone or a company who mistreated you so badly? I just do not get it at all. It is as if Golden Boy got the blame when it was DAZN who sabotaged the deal. Only in boxing would something like this happen, well maybe in wrestling too.

The English do have an elitist attitude and consider themselves above everyone else Their culture is a class and wealth based culture. They have 7 divisions with the Aristoc**** and Upper Class at the top. There is no moving up in the English class system. When they ruled the world they considered those under their thumb beneath them, uncultured, and ignorant. Their empire is gone, but their attitudes of other peoples especially in 3rd world countries are the exactly the same.

        DAZN, FOX, Triller, Showtime...

BOTH are basically Free Agents so it should indeed go to the highest bidder

Once again Trolls show up to act like little Network and Promotion Groupies for DAZN and PBC, nobody give s a F%CK what you guys Think. Canelo and Plant will make the best decisions FOR THEM regardless if we like it or not. They don't give a DAMN what Idiots on Boxing Scene Forum are saying

There were three cornerstones in the deal. DAZN, GBP and Canelo. And it went south because of GBP not DAZN. Legally, Canelo and DAZN were happy to wipe the slate clean and it's obvious there are no hard feelings between Canelo and DAZN. And obviously there are hard feelings between Canelo and GBP. That should tell you all you need to know.

Canelo's commercial appeal is at least as big as when he signed the deal with DAZN, so he is actually in a better position with the deal dissolved.

I know the basics of the deal, but that is nonsense. Yes Golden Boy and Canelo were having internal problems, but it was DAZN who put the list of approved fighters and were refusing to allow Canelo to fight anyone not on the list. How is GB responsible for that? Of course GB and Canelo had a falling out, but that does not mean DAZN was the good guy on the issue. GB and Canelo's problems were more personal than professional. DAZN put up the obstructions to any fights getting made not GB. It seems that people always want to pick a side and their side is the good guy whether its politics or boxing politics, but in reality DAZN obstructed and acted in bad faith with Canelo's contract not GB. DAZN refused to pay Canelo the agreed amount of $35million/fight not GB, Canelo even lowered his purse to get fights made, but DAZN again refused.

DAZN had buyers remorse about the $365million. DAZN did not have the growth they expected to get, they even raised the monthly sub price, the pandemic hit, and they were bleeding money. Hearns was playing both ends caring more about his promotion than growing DAZN. So in essence DAZN wanted out of the contract and the evidence and their behavior prove it. Only approving Canelo to fight De La Hoya, who in in his late 40s and has not fought in 13 years, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jorge Masvidal who are MMA fighters not boxers and dissapproving top fighters like Saunders, Kovalev. What does such action by DAZN tell you? It tells me they were trying to get Canelo to ask for his release and in the end they got their wish. Not only that they got Canelo to blame GB for it. It does not surprise me that GB and Canelo would turn on each other and DAZN would skate away with no liability or responsibility for what happened.

You're projecting a whole load of stuff that doesn't actually add up. Canelo's own words : "I earn more now than with that contract." If DAZN had buyer's remorse, why would they continue to offer more money to Canelo for fights afterwards?

DAZN had its big money deal with Canelo that offered x million per fight. Canelo has said the fundamental problem was that he thought it was that amount plus extra for big names like GGG or Mayweather but Goldenboy had agreed with DAZN it was just for x million.

That's straight from the horse's mouth. We can see he has no problem with DAZN per se -- that much is self evident. He had a problem with the an element of the original deal. And that revolved around GBP.

We know he had a problem with Oscar because he says Oscar did nothing except worry about drinking. We know he feels GBP weren't loyal, because he's said so with reference to quite specific events.

Listen brah.. Imagine being born into a nation prefaced by the word 'Great' and indoctrinated from birth that the piece of dirt your parents phukked on was superior to every other piece of dirt on this rock, to the point where you naively believed as a child that being born on said hallowed dirt gave you rights and entitlements above all other nations. Then your teenage rebellion arrives and makes you question this ish... You travel some and realise the extent of the lie you've been sold and the loyalty they tried to extract in case they needed you to die for their cause.. Then one day the twin evils of Brexit and a pandemic arrive to trap you once again on this perfidious Albion, surrounded by vaccuous, ignorant patriots who rejoice in being ruled by a bunch of elitist, effete ******s, not even comprehending just how scorned and ridiculed they are by said ******s. Give us a break ok? We're not the only ones.

If you actually believe Canelo is making more now than a $365million deal for 10 fights then in the past I bet you were set up to have date with a woman and you were told, don't mind she is 6" tall, has big feet, man hands, and the adams apple, she is really a woman and of course you said, without a doubt, sure I believe you. 6 months later you married that girl/guy.
