Anyone that thinks this fight was close in any way is a ****ing dumb ass idiot and needs to be banned from ever discussing boxing in their pathetic lives!!! Canelo was up 6-2 only rounds BJS won were 5 & 6 and thats cause canelo wanted him to come in and let his hands go to counter em and set up shots which is exactly what happened!

Billy Joe has a very poor KO record. There was no way he was gonna survive 12 rounds with Canelo without getting hit. Canelo punches too hard, if he hits you with a good one, you lose!Comment

This is the problem when boxers quit in their corner.,....excuses, excuses, excuses. BJS was getting dismantled little by little, that was Canelo´s game plan. BJS was basically running and hugging after round 3. He was competitive the first rounds of course, he´s a champ but Canelo is on a league of his own.Comment

The Canelo haters, just like the Pacquiao haters, will have to go back to the drawing board. As far as fighting to the death etc--even Canelo said he knew Saunders was done--too dangerous for a fighter to continue with broken orbital, cheekbone, etc. But the bloodthirsty-type fans want to return to gladiator days in Rome.Comment

Early on billy was having success but the tide was turning towards a grim end the longer it went on . He would have been stretched out if he carried on for sure
On a side note I don’t think I’ve seen a fighter make so many people butt hurt since broner . Billy’s poop breath jokes really pizzed everyone off
Saunders did his job to create a hype about the fight and gave the Mexicans something to cheer about on Mexican weekend
Broken face load of money everyone’s a winner
The tide only turned against BJS when Canelo landed that bone crushing uppercut. Billy won the 5th, 6th, 7th rounds and he was doing well in 8th till that one punch from Canelo effectively ended the fight. It made me laugh how the commentary team, who had been talking about how good BJS was looking throughout most of the previous 3 rounds, all suddenly decided that, "you could see that coming doe ..." after his corner stopped the fight.
I wouldn’t say the tide was turning, Billy wasnt actually having much success between rounds 2-4. He started getting into it more between 4-7.
Saunders three best rounds were the ones before the eighth when he got caught. One shot changed the fight completely. Even the first half of the 8th round was pretty close until he got caught.
Not saying he would’ve gone onto win, Canelo looked like he could move through gears but BJS was certainly getting a bit better as the fight went on, doesn’t really matter though, It’s a 12 round fight and he got caught with a good shot and it ended.

When he was ''doing well'', he wasn't doing damage.

That's the key. I don't think anyone thought Nelo was going to shut out BHS, but eventually break him. BHS was not talented enough to keep Nelo off of him for the entire fight.
''I can't win a decision (insinuating he would have to KO Nelo due to corrupt judging)''
In his next breath
''I need a bigger ring.''
No BHS. According to your logic, you need a phone booth so you bash your way to a TKO victory
While also declaring
''I'm going to take his titles by storm.''
With a peashooter ?

BHS had no intentions of getting off his stoolLast edited by BodyBagz; 05-11-2021, 07:55 AM.Comment
