His chin looked very solid. He got caught with a great uppercut that nearly knocked out his gum shield and he never wobbled. The likes of Andrade wouldn’t take those shots.

we’ll never truly know and that’s credit to Canelo anyway, he got the job done, he threw the shot.

maybe the end would’ve come anyway because at least he was trying to win, inevitable leaving himself more open.

either way i’d rather get stopped in 8 trying to win than go 12 just trying to survive with no ambition to win like Smith
Lol@ Billy's chin look very solid
        Yeh right...
This fight was never gonna go 12 rounds
As Canelo predicted it was always gonna be a BJS knock out before the 10th
        Soo said soo done.

Saunders three best rounds were the ones before the eighth when he got caught. One shot changed the fight completely. Even the first half of the 8th round was pretty close until he got caught.

Not saying he would’ve gone onto win, Canelo looked like he could move through gears but BJS was certainly getting a bit better as the fight went on, doesn’t really matter though, It’s a 12 round fight and he got caught with a good shot and it ended.
Cement feet Alvarez cut off the ring with great efficiency but 2 rounds where he got beaten clearly. That's why I never come on these forums guaranteeing something will 100% happen because it might end up making me look bad.

Good footwork is not about moving 100 miles a second, it's about moving the less you have to and be effective onto moving your opponent where you want him to be.

Billy did ok it just that canelo learned to adapt to any stance and boxing style setting up his counters based on that he learned to figure out his opponents then systematically and methodically beat them up more than 400+ rounds combined as pro that is massive ring experience add that boxing lesson loss against the best defensive boxer at young age and u have an elite fighter at his prime now

Hahaha spoken like a true bulls#itter. I got news for you, when you get your face literally smashed-in and require surgery, you ARE out of your league. What a buffoon. “Just a good punch”, he was getting smashed to head and body, he knew the trouble he was in. And what did he land? A handful of pity-pats that had zero effect on canelo. Way out of his league.

Sorry Billy but you were completely out of your league. Lmao Chavez Junior didn't even get his face smashed in like that and made it all 12.

Absolutely. I had the fight dead even by the end of the 8th. There was just no way BJS won only two rounds and I’m speaking as a Canelo fan.
Assuming the injury never happened, Canelo was picking up steam and would have either stopped him later or taken a clear UD.
That said, Canelo will do the same thing to Caleb Plant and become the 1st man in history to unify the 168 division. And I imagine, the hate will still pour in.

Billy's punches were landing very weak with no authority or deterrent. Even Lara's punches were landing much crisper and harder.
