He has some talent, he has fast hands and some pop.

But he’s not overly talented. He doesn’t have fast reflexes or fast feet.

    Skillwise, he’s severely lacking.

He had talent, but more importantly was marketed well and had great matchmaking.

There is a wide gap between being a great talent and being on the level of Mayweather. Broner had talent, but the air becomes more rarified the closer to the top one becomes lol. Basically he had fast hand speed, and initially he had power. This power did not really carry up and Broner did not have exceptional feet, prefering to fight in the pocket, flat footed. Broner could counter punch... but you have to be so good to make that skill good enough to win fights. I tend to think that Adrien gets a bum deal in one respect... I don't buy the premise that if Adrien had been a choir boy, in the gym everyday, who thought a strip club was a type of steak... that he would have gone much farther. I used to... But I asked myself, how a flat footed guy with good hand speed, but diminished power, would do, against guys who were more well rounded, active, and with superior reach.

I don't think Adrien could have been much better, despite having some natural ability, counter punching ability, and resilance.

Exactly it, he was too distracted with bs he cared more about which prevented him from becoming the much better fighter he could have been.

                  He destroyed DEMARCO.
                  Basically same achievement as Valero.
Probably even better than Valero cos he got no cuts from Demarco.
Weight issues really destroyed his career.
His frame was never meant for 147.
If he stayed at 140, he would've had a more stellar career.

He’s a smaller version of Dillian Whyte with a yankee accent.
