No, I am not the guy who is always defending HBO. But the fact is they're a billion dollar business, how ****** can they really be? And of course there will be some less than stellar decisions from time to time. But I find it hard to argue with their success in the boxing business overall.

If it stopped with that fight, I wouldn't think much of it, but if the winner is contracted to fight the Mosley-Clottey winner, that seems good to me.
This post does not make any sense at all. In my view I think unification fights are bad if they are between fighters who are useless. These two guys are. Mosley is the best in the division and I don't want to sit through another one of Berto's boring ass sparring sessions while I'm waiting for the main event to come on between Clottey and Mosley. And to me it is better to have two useless title holders than a useless unified title holder. That would give Berto an incentive to price himself out of fights even further. Hlatshwayo got a belt he didn't deserve because he didn't fight Clottey for it anyway.

When you stop to think about it, Mosley should have the IBF belt because Margarito had to give it up to a guy he had already beat in Clottey in order to make the Cotto fight happen. So after Margarito beat Cotto, he would've went into the fight with Mosley as being unified, and in turn Mosley would have the WBA and IBF belts around his waist. And most importantly, he would be the #1 fighter in the division holding them.

If Berto wins and then fights the Mosley-Clottey winner, the winner of that fight would have three major titles. I don't see how that can be a bad thing. The fact that if it weren't for bull**** stripping, Mosley would have the titles already, doesn't alter the fact that it would be good for clarity if he could unify all three of them now.

As I said, I think it's too early to judge Berto.

Go and have a drink in the bar instead then, while you're waiting for the main event. And I doubt it'll be the worst undercard fight in history!

It looks to me too like HBO wants Mosley to do the heavy lifting at 147 right now and just cater to Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Cotto. I'm leaving JMM out because he beat who was put in front of him at 135. My point is that Shane has to fight Clottey and Berto after beating Margarito. Mosley should at least get a fight with the Mayweather-JMM winner if Arum doesn't want to pony one of his fighters up.

I wish they would strip Berto to be honest. Make Clottey vs Mosley for the vacant WBC belt. Hopefully Mosley wins and fights the IBF champ. Then my dream of a Floyd vs Mosley fight can happen, lol

Anyway he doesn't want Collazo and is crying for money. I think there going to strip this cat really soon.

Berto sounds spoiled or disillusioned, he thinks he's bigger than he is.

Berto needs a reality check, if he fights Mosley he would have one.
