BoxingScene.com was advised that a planned doubleheader is not taking shape as expected. HBO would like to put together a welterweight doubleheader on December 26. In the main event, Shane Mosley would defend his WBA "super" welterweight title against the probable challenger Joshua Clottey. As the co-feature, the network wanted an unification bout between WBC champion Andre Berto and IBF champion Isaac Hlatshwayo. Obviously the card is an infomercial to set up a Mosley vs. Berto bout in early 2010. [details]

As many soft touches and good money youve made on HBO, you cant take a little less Berto? Come on, nobody has had it as good as you in getting a title and your defenses. Take the cut then come back and get more against Mosley, but I know what it is, you know Mosley would win, so you wanna get the two biggest paychecks you can before you lose your title to him.
