Austin Trout fight should be a loss or a draw but it’s hard to blame Canelo for the last four rounds because there was open scoring.

He should have lost the Lara fight 116-112.

GGG 1 should have been a 116-112 loss.

GGG 2 should have been a 115-113 loss.

Jacobs should have been a draw.

Kovalev should have been ahead on all three cards.

Canelo had one judge scoring against him on the Lara fight...a fight that he clearly won imo...
Canelo had 2 judges giving him 115-113 scorecards on the Jacobs fight...if he lost one more round that fight would've been a draw
On the GGG fights, one judge scored against him, and on the rematch, a fight he clearly won, a judge scored it a draw
Canelo was beating Kovalev's ass and one judge scored it a draw and the other 2 had him winning by only 2 points

So im not sure where there's this narrative that you can't ever beat Canelo on the scorecards because the only fight he really lost was Mayweather

So, just curious, how do you feel about the FMJ vs. Canelo scores? Do you think Canelo deserved a draw on one card of a fight that he won one round in when Floyd clearly took the round off? I think you get my drift. Canelo gets a lot of special consideration when it comes to decisions. My aunt is literally in love with him and said GGG kicked his @ ss in the first fight. That fight wasn't even close to me or anyone who watched the fight with that night.

Maybe not gift decisions but definitely gift scorecards. All you have to do is look at the scorecards in the Mayweather fight, the first Golovkin fight, and the Lara fight. I believe one judge was suspended for an outrageous scorecard from the first Golovkin fight.

Anybody claiming Canelo hasn't had ridiculous scorecards in his favor is just being disingenuous. He's an outstanding fighter but it is what it is.

Canelo still LOST the Mayweather fight as he deserved to. Who cares about a whack scorecard that had no effect on the final result?

He has never gotten a win when he shouldn't have. To this day.

I'd agree with that. There has definitely been some sketchy scorecards. I mean that Byrd scorecard for the GGG is hands down one of the worst scorecards in the last decade or so in a major fight. Randomly Byrd is fooking MMA decisions all the time too. Idk who's **** this lady is sucking or who's she's got videos of them putting kitchen utensils up their ass of, but this lady shouldn't be judging via the American Idol call in vote number let alone anything where she's 1/3 of the vote on guys' future in combat sports.

A close fight is a close fight. I’m fine with it going either way. Only mangina’s got a problem with it.

I never understood people saying the trout fight was a loss, it was a clear Canelo win in my opinion.

I do think the open scoring threw Trout off the gameplan though. Without it, it may have been a different story, not with the judges of course, Canelo was getting the decision anyway.

so I do think the decision was right in the end, but the course of the fight was changed by the open scoring for sure.

If you go into Canell fight knowing that it will be tough to get a decision against the cash cow and don’t go for the KO then that’s on you.
These ******* go into survival mode after the first few rounds just so they can cry robbery and the Canelo haters eat it up.
If you let the fight go to a decision then you better be prepared to live with that decision.

Even the first Golovkin bout was super close and a draw is a completely legitimate result.

The "Canelo scorecards" narrative is bullsh*t. Lazy thinking from people who are just looking for an excuse to hate him.
The Canelo scorecard narrative is built around the Floyd scorecard and the 1st GGG scorecard by Byrd.

Canelo definitely lost to Floyd and a Canelo did not WIN the 1st GGG fight...although the draw was fair as was a slim GGG win.

Those are the only bad Canelo scorecards but when youre the face of boxing it goes under a magnifying glass
