There isn't one fight on this card that I find remotely interesting. Or even a fight where I question who may win.

Idk about “slim” but he is looking good, ready for sure. Looks like he has taken camp very seriously.

I just do this for fun and maintenance not only that but am older than him.

No excuse for him having the body of a city bus driver.
Ruiz is what the people look like in that animated movie, Wall-E. The dude is a food addict. Staying relatively fit and slender is not that difficult if you exercise and moderate your food intake. There’s no need to be eating donuts, chocolate bars, ice cream, chips and cake if you’re a professional athlete. Ruiz is a good fighter but his mental weakness for food will show up inside the ring too. It’s not just a weakness at the dinner table, it’s a weak mind too.

It's not hard at all and given that he is and has been a pro athlete for a long time he should know exactly what to do.

I absolutely agree. I know people in their 50’s and 60’s who are muscular and ripped. My brother in law is going to be 61 years old this year and he’s very muscular and ripped. All he does is lift weights, walking, and importantly he avoids eating too much junk food or overeating. I’m a middle aged guy and I do moderately intense lifting and casual exercise and try not to overeat and I’m slim and lean. It’s weird watching a world full of 20 something fat arses crying about how hard it is to stop pigging out. I have nephews in their early 20’s that are very overweight while their uncles and aunts are vastly more fit than them. It’s embarrassing!

If Ruiz Junior weighed in at 230-240 pounds? I honestly think it would affected him negatively, he would be pushed over by Joshua.

Ruiz Junior's condition for the first Joshua fight was fine 'Some fighters do not physiologically acclimatize well to drastically changing body composition'.

Rid**** Bowe lost 80 pounds for his rematch vs Golota, and with that? He was weakened.

In my late 30s myself and train most days of the week and eat a well balanced diet. These kids are alot more sedentary and we have gotten to addicted to convenience and pandering to everyone's feelings over telling it like it is.

Yeah, this. Definitely not very slim, but he looks in better shape and has definitely shed some serious pounds. Good on him.
