why? cause mosley beat margarito who beat cotto right? the reason why cotto is arguably the best welter out there cause he beat mosley. and cotto's lost against margo now has a "?"

What I am saying is, if your gonna fight at WW, for a WW title... to be ranked #1 at WW by that organization, then it should be at the proper WW limit... IMO.

This ranked are after Margarito beat Cotto
Cotto moved 8 and Margarito become 6

Now Mosley is number 4 and since his fight with Margarito has not fought anyone while Cotto will do his 3 fight this year.
Jennings- just a come back fight
        Clottey -#3 at Welterweight
        Pacquiao -#1 P4P and #1 Jr Welterweight
Its different when your talking about the #1 spot though, way different.

Is that how you define convincing?
In any case how many years back was that?
So in your eyes Cotto shouldnt be an underdog because he had a questionable decision over Mosley 10 yrs ago?The fact that he was made into a punchbag by Margarito in his next fight after the gift is immaterial?

Has a "?", but there isn't any proof what so ever... Cotto was the man at WW... Margarito beat him making him the man... them Mosley beat him making him the man... just because Cotto beat Mosley in 2007 doesn't undo everything and makes Cotto jump him and put him at #1.

The only way you can argue Cotto being #1, is if you talk about how inactive Mosley has been since the Margarito fight and how Cotto has fought Clottey... other than that what you said doesn't mean anything.

thats the point bro. it has a "?" cause theres no proof. if there was, it should be "!"

the only way to find out whos the man at welter is to have cotto-shane rematch

145 is WW, but 145 isn't the proper WW limit, I have no problem with it being at 145, but I don't like the fact that there are gonna be titles on the line for a fight at 145 and calling it a WW fight, and if he wins... people will call Manny the #1 WW, but at the end of the day... it wasn't at the correct WW limit regardless, I don't care what SRL did and that, I would be objective to them too... but it just isn't right.

You can't just take pounds away from a weight class and just fight for a title there meaning if you win you will have a title in another weight class, when it wasn't legitimately in another weight class it was at a catch weight, if it was all legit and stuff it would be at 147, not 145.

141 pounds is still WW, but if it was a catch weight at 141 we know you wouldn't be reacting the same.

They're only after Cotto cause he's showed signs of slowing down....lol Only you ****in lame fans can't understand that.

But if Cotto does win, it puts him right back to where he should have been I think. I mean Mosley, Judah, along with his previous work. He should be atleast number 3 right now. It's just between the Marg and Clottey fight, he's been zapped to some extent. If he loses to Paq, honestly....that would be pathetic. He's got more than enough skill and power to embarrass this over protected clown. It's ultimately up to him to be able to touch Paq up enough to get the stoppage, which I think he should train for. Cotto should be training like the ****in heartless beast that he is when he's at his best. And that's training for a 12 round war, which I think he should be able to win before that 12.
