Rankings dont work that way.Floyd didnt lose in the ring to lose his spot,it was because he wasnt fighting. So you dont have to lose a fight for you to lose your ranking spot.Fighters dont fight on the same day yet rankings change every day, that proves rating are done on a fight by fight basis.

Right now Manny is number one and there is a number 2 all the way to Number 10.When Floyd fights and he wins well he gets back to number 1,even if he doesnt become number 1 and becomes number 10 instead,do you think the number 10 fighter will have lost in the ring for him to lose his spot?

if floyd fought against jennings, he wouldn't be top 10 p4p

the only reason he's going to enter the list again is because he's fighting the #2 guy. when he retired, he lost his spot, now he must start from scratch

Floyd doesn't deserve **** if Cotto wins and Floyd wins, then Cotto is #1 P4P.

But he did need a win over the man who beat the man... Lets put it like this.. lets say there was only one title (If it were only that easy) and say Cotto won it from Shane, Marg won it from Cotto, and Shane won it from Marg.. Shane would be considered the best..which he is..If Cotto beat Marg tomorrow he's still not ranked ahead of Shane ..Where in Jacksonville do you stay?

Yeah I disagree.. I think if Pac wins he is number one regardless of JMM/Floyd

but if pac beats cotto, he moves down for making history and winning 2 titles against a dominant WW?

get out of here with that ******ed logic. floyd's win over a LW isn't better than pac's win against a WW, nor would cotto's win over pac mean more than marquez's win over floyd
