  • Comments Thread For: Whyte: WBC 'Better F---ing Acknowledge' Me As Mandatory After I Win Povetkin Rematch

Dillian Whyte won't hold his breath awaiting a shot at the WBC heavyweight title if he wins his rematch against Alexander Povetkin on Saturday night. Whyte would at least expect to be reinstated as the WBC's mandatory challenger, however, if he avenges his fifth-round knockout defeat to Povetkin on August 22. London's Whyte believes he was the WBC's mandatory challenger for more than 2 1/2 years before Povetkin upset him seven months ago, yet he never received a shot at Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury.

He is a ****** who stick to Boxing knows nothing about Boxing, he lost his chance and being ko and win a return does not make you Number 1

Still trying to talk **** lol. If he wins this fight hes 1-1 with 41 year old Povetkin, its not like he can start acting like hes Fury or Joshua level again.

Who else can they make a mandatory? It would be nice to see them mandate Wilder v Whyte, winner faces the Fury/AJ winner. Need to get past Povetkin first, if POV wins then him v Wilder.

This week he’s been talking himself into being ko again , nothing from povetkin all his talking will be on the night , Whyte is talking himself into a whole lot of pressure as the fight nears and the 1st bell sounds .

Nah, they gonna fuck Whyte again. Don't think he'll ever get a WBC title shot as their mandatory.

Irrespective of your opinion of Whyte - he had a ******ly long wait as the mandatory.

Lol great point. I also think the same about joshua. He’s only 1-1 with Ruiz yet he walked away like he never lost. Plus Ruiz dominated him embarrassed him in front of the whole world. All aj did was give us a poor mans version of fury’s style and ran his way to a UD. I’d take Ruiz win everyday of the week. So I guess Whyte isn’t the only one masquerading as an elite level HW. Finally, Joshua isn’t on the same level as fury. He’s same as Whyte wilder and Parker. Fury is out on his own at the minute, until someone can out do his achievements. #FreeEducation. #TakeItForFree!!

As much as Whyte is disliked his point is valid. He shouldve got his mandatory shot. He probably wouldve got knocked out but he still deserved his chance.
