I don't think the average fan gives one fook about the ABC politics or platform politics of boxing. So if you do x cuz you wanted to or cuz you had to isn't in play for those types. I don't blame Canelo. The sanctioning bodies are the culprits, he did what he had to do and Yildrim had already step aside to allow Canelo to fight before him. Spence had a mandatory Ocampo that had no business in being the Mando with the fighters that he had beaten. I am in for beating the mandos in their devisions but some are unjustifiably awarded that spot when others no matter who they fight can secure that spot. Look at Fortuna, fighting rank fighters and still has not secured a shot.
