Why is Canelo taking heat?

Do you remember when canelo gave up the 160 lbs wbc belt? He didn't want to fight ggg nor unify.

Yes I remember when the "Franchise title" was invented what's that been 2 years ago. I stated I'm not a super fan of Canelo and stated that for various reasons. I dont believe in the Franchise title I think its poison to the sport. I think Teo Lopez should fight Devin Haney to become undisputed and only because of that bull crap title he possesses and not because Haney is a worthy champ. Haney got the title via Lomo being upgraded whatever that means and Canelo got to bypass Charlo by becoming Franchise worthy. I am over the Canelo GGG fights though. Too much water under the bridge now IMO

End of the day this guy isn't any worse than who Bieterbiev, Bilenavidez, or the BUM Bivol just fought. Or the Rolls, Wade, and Simon Sesmeta

Wow, so now we just act like it's acceptable for a guy to win a close competitive fight that many thought could have gone the other way and not rematch him? There really is no integrity left in the sport of boxing. If Bud did that you can damn well right be sure I'd be made and say we need a rematch. Pathetic how low the fanboys in this sport will go just to prop up their guy. I won't stand for the idea that it's acceptable not to rematch a guy you arguably lost to.
