No it isn't, but because of that jab Diaz ended up throwing and landing less punches. And he wasn't able to get close to Paulie for the majority of the fight, sure, Diaz was coming forward but Paulie was in control the entire time because of his jab. Diaz also looked exactly like Hatton in the sense that he just had his hands up and just lunged in with punches. He didn't win the fight, he didn't look good in the fight, he didn't throw more, he didn't land more and he wasn't even the one controlling his opponent. He won because he was the one coming forward and that's it. This is the biggest robbery I have ever seen in my life, I mean really... if Floyd was in that ring with Diaz he would have made Diaz look even worse and still probably lost the decision.Originally posted by texanballer View PostComment

Its a tough call in my opinion. I dont like PM persona but that is just my opinion. As far as the fight I scored it 115-113 for PM. I watched it with my girlfriends family and they are less than casual fans and even they had PM winning. For Less than casual fans to say the other guy clearly won has to say how or what little Diaz actually did do. Yeah he threw the more powerful shots but can you really win a round on two or three shots?
It was a petty theft not a robbery.
PM needs to man up and get over it
he got a nice check and now fighters will want to fight him because he can be the gatekeeper for that weight. If he is as good as he says then he can upset one of those using him. If you look at the division both he and Diaz are b fighters at best.
I remember the head but Diaz suffered from Nate, it was a worst cut imo but nate kept popping it all night and Diaz totally lost focus. I didnt see PM going after the eye. Even HBO commentators stated the absence of PM going after the cuts.Comment
