You should be able to collect a 10 million dollar paycheck in between naps... matter of fact you dont even need to train for this fight Bernard... Roy is so far gone, it would take literally nothing for you to show up and collect your 60% win, grab a good 8-10 million... and move on with your illustrous legacy.


Sounds like a GREAT fight to take near the tail end of your career... and you get to take Roys proposal and beat him with it.

It honestly makes no sense to me. Both were ruling their divisions at the time. Now Hopkins is the best in his division, and Roy isn't even in the top 5. Not to mention that Roy has lost to every elite fighter since 2004, whereas Hopkins in the opinion of many has not lost since 93.

Also Hopkins is in a possition to dictate terms since he has been fighting the best and WINNING during the past 5 years. Both Roy and Hopkins were on top and Hopkins had every belt in his division and was lineal at the time Roy said 60-40. Now not only is Hopkins on top, he is a top 3 P4P fighter, is regarded as the best in his division (rated way above Jones), and has actually fought and beaten A level fighters during the past few years. If there ever was a time for 60-40 off the bat it is now, and in Hopkins' favor.
