There were only two meaningful fights for Abraham at Middleweight: Pavlik and Sturm. He offered Sturm $3 million to fight him, which would have been a career high payday for Sturm, and Sturm turned it down. He tried to make a fight with Pavlik for over a year, and Arum killed it and claimed that fighting Diddy Doddy Duddy was a bigger fight for Pavlik than fighting Abraham, who was universally rated #2 at Middleweight at the time, which was just pathetic.

Why did he offer that $3 million amount to Sturm, but not Pavlik? I am disappointed in Pavlik's current title reign with opponents such as Rubio and Lockett. But you can't bash Pavlik's resume and at the same time praise Abraham's. That's all I'm saying. I think Paul Williams is a tougher opponent than Abraham even though Abraham has more fights at 160. And whenever I analyze a Pavlik-Abraham match up I have Pavlik coming out as the winner everytime. We'll see what Abraham is able to do against Jermaine Taylor. I slightly favor Abraham in that fight, but I think that Taylor won't gas out as easily against him as he did against Froch and Pavlik. Abraham doesn't impose his will on you like those two guys do.

That's is a biased post, Grustler. No big deal, just calling it how I see it. No point arguing about it though, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I agree that Floyd deserves a lot of credit for fighting DLH at his own weight class, though. And DLH was not the same fighter when he fought Pac. But it was still a superb performance by Pac.

But as for the Hatton fight, as far as I'm concerned, you're seeing things in an incredibly biased way. Hatton was coming off a great win. You predicted Hatton would beat Pac. They were fighting at Hatton's best weight class, a weight class in which Hatton was still unbeaten. And Pac destroyed him. Your unwillingness to give him proper respect for that performance makes you look terribly biased to me.

After Pac destroyed Hatton I gave him full respect and you know
it because you read my post after they fought. I'm just making
a point on how some could argue that both De La Hoya and Hatton
wasn't at their best when they fought Pac BUT Pac still gets full credit
for beating two fighters that were already beaten by another prior
SO Williams should get FULL CREDIT because this fight with Kelly
Pavlik would be at his best weight. Can't really give credit half
way because credit is credit.
