    Lewis.

Americans fail to recognize the greatness of good european fighters like Calzaghe or the Klitscho's. Had these fighters been american black fighters with big mouth, americans would be sucking their **** on daily basis

So are you saying Hopkins is Joe's best win?

Because if you're comparing his win vs. Hopkins against Lewis' win vs. Tyson, that's kind of silly.

Tyson was not Lennox's best win. Lewis beating Holyfield was more of an accomplishment. Beating Vitali was a better accomplishment than beating that version of Tyson.

lewis by a landslide, he based himself and his training camp in america, he faced more american opposition, had a well respected american trainer and his fights were covered by american networks more often .

joe is used to not being well liked, he was often booed by the brits at the start of his career

          Lennox did not beat Vitali.

Lennox got lucky the doctors stopped the fight. Lennox was behind on scorecards and Vitali wanted to continue for the last rounds.

Again, he beat a smaller man. AND older. And Holyfield arguably won the second fight.

you want them to wait for vitali's eyeball to fall out before stopping it?

great fight and great show of heart for vitali but.......

a 37 yr. old past prime lennox lewis who came in out of shape still beat a prime vitali klitschko.

anything vitali did after and before does nothing but add to lennox's legacy.

This is childish ignorence. Why do you think Lennox retired after the fight and not giving Vitali rematch? Lennox was scared.

Of course! He knew he got lucky. And he knew he no longer was in his prime. Even in his prime, I don't think he could beat Vitali fairly. Or Wladimir.

i don't care if lennox was scared or not.

just because he didn't give a rematch doesn't mean he didn't win the 1st.

lennox messed up vitali's eye with a right hand.

they stopped the fight because of that eye.

the damage was caused by a punch by lennox.

hence TKO WIN for lennox lewis.

let me know if there are other things about boxing you want me to explain to you.

He was also 38,fought everybody and had the brain to see he didn't have it anymore and retire as champ.

His retirement was well deserved and well timed.
