I was rooting for Vitali and had him up at the time of the stoppage. This is why I can't be a fan of the brothers. Their fans are childish.

Vitali's eye was very bad and it was decided that he couldn't continue. Lennox created the cut WITH A PUNCH, which is legitimate.

Look at it this way. Juan Diaz lost to Nate Campbell via UD after sustaining a horrible cut caused by a punch. If they had stopped the fight due to the cut, Diaz would've lost the fight even though he was winning at the time. Would that mean that Campbell didn't deservedly win? No. It means he exploited the cut like a smart fighter should.

As I've said, Vitali was winning but Lennox exploited a terrible cut and got a TKO victory, there's nothing wrong with that. We have no idea what would've happened had the fight continued so we can't speculate, but IMO Lennox had the momentum.

I was rooting for Vitali at the time, I didn't like Lewis.

I'm not confused at all. Since Vitali's loss to Lewis I was annoyed with his injuries and the fans on this site compounded the issue.

lewis beat a pathetic VERSION of tyson who then went onto lose to williams and mcbride and beat a old holyfield even tho i thought 2nd fight couldve went holyfields way if not for the 1st fight being so clearly a robbery. prime tyson and holyfield v lewis they would beat him.calzaghe beat old hopkins regardles wat you say and a piss poor version of jones both beat joe if they were peak.lewis isnt even british really but cmon joe cleary is both should get respect for what they acheived but i will always say they both got their big fights at the right times when other guys were older and on the slide.

ummm......maybe because he messed up vitali's eye and they stopped the fight because of it.
