lewis is more respected in general no matter where u are from. and rightfully so, the man is a legend. the last great HW. calzaghe is a good fighter who conned ppl into thinking he was a great fighter. most brits choose to look the other way and act like he is it also, and some americans are foolish enough to agree. truth to be told he isnt on the same level as lewis was, its quite obvious.

I don't like what Calzaghe has to say. His resume is great but he is an idiot that said boxing is dying.
It's easy to say that when you are not part of the sport anymore.
I really think he wouldn't survive this "super six" tournament.Comment

Lennox is more respected. He was hated as badly by the Yanks during his reign as champ pre-Holyfield though. He got sympathy after getting robbed against Holyfield. I think as time went by, he got more respected. Not sure if the same will happen for JoeComment

Lewis is a great fighter, a top ten HW, but i don't consider him brittish.
Calzaghe is a average champion who hid at SMW almost all his career.
Of course Lewis gets more respect.Comment
