they disliked lewis because of his boring style after he hooked up with steward.

BUT......they never questioned lennox's skills , resume and capabilities.

joe calzaghe is a joke compared to lennox.

Hopkins wasn't shot when Joe beat him, but Tyson was shot when Lennox beat him. Who has the better resume, really?

Lennox had an 84" to 71" reach advantage over Tyson.

tyson wasn't shot when he fought lennox.

he was past prime. just like hopkins was.

the tyson lennox fought would have still beat most heavyweights out there.

mike tyson , evander holyfield , vitali klitschko , hasim rahman , david tua , oliver mccall , tommy morrison , shannon briggs , andrew golota , razor ruddock , frank bruno , ray mercer......

he beat these guys when they were in they're prime.

an old , past prime lennox lewis tko'd vitali klitschko in his prime.

        don't compare joe's crap resume to lennox's.

Lewis by a long shot, Lewis was arguably the best of his generation, I just don't buy Calzaghe being the best SMW of all time.

So you're comparing resumes on 1 fight?

Lewis was BY FAR the beter more accomplished fighter man.He deserves his respect.

Lol, is there any need to ask this question? LEWIS BY A MILE! It took the yanks some time to gain respect for him, but I guess since he was black it was easier. I mean, since the American scene has always been heavily dominated by blacks. They see Calzaghe and think "who's this silly foreigner?"

It just is easier for a black Briton to look respectable in the eyes of American boxing fans.

                    joe is very good.

one does not go 46-0 without being good.

his resume is also not as bad as some say.

BUT lennox lewis fought EVERYONE (except bowe and we all know who didn't want that fight) and he beat EVERYONE he has ever fought.

Damn. I voted for Calzaghe but I meant Lewis.

This one is a no brainer.
