thats actually a pretty good question.... i think people would be more open to Calzaghe's personality etc except for the fact that the MS americans favor a HW against all others...

i'd say lewis, due to his weight class.... but if calzaghe had more mainstream exposure, i think he would have taken this!

Definitely Lewis, he started getting people's respect after the first Holyfield fight then he went and beat Tyson which garnered more respect. He's definitely more respected by Americans than Calzaghe.

lennox lewis, but he still gets almost zero respect from americans anyway. calzaghe just dont get any resepect what so ever while lewis gets minimal resepect.

both are widely hated in america because of where they are from
