If he dont like the proposition he can carry his cry baby ass on to fight Berto and let Berto beat his ass for 3quarters less than he will get with Manny.
2nd of all...Manny said he will not go back up to the full WW limit in his last fight there....unless someone would agree on a catch. This should come to know surprise. If you get your head out of Cottos ass youd know this.

Ill be happy to strighten this out for you. 141-147 is witin the WW limit. A Catchweight is smiply an agreement from both fighters to keep either one from having an advantage to agree on a weight within the WW limits as a limit that cannot exceed agreed weight.
If the two can agree on the weight limit there should be know arguement on weather or not a title can be at stake because the fight is taking place in the legal limits of the Wealterweight division.

If Pac walks away you know Cotto will mostly likely fight Berto while Mosley and Pac try to reach an agreement - which only seems easy to make b/c the two sides aren't even talking to each other: Once negotiations start it will become just as problematic as these, if not more so. That's just Pac's handler's M.O.

And Cotto only has two years left in his career so you know its all big money winners from now on. And please don't refer to organization rankings, they are a total joke in every sense of the word.

More importantly, you know that by facetiously disparaging Cotto's solid career you are undermining the value of Pac's possible victory right? PAc won his titles. He beat the champs he needed to. He worked his way into the P4P rankings and went to the top with it. Everyone is not garbage...Dont know why you think Pac Fans think that. i have to agree with cotto here. 145 is in the welterweight limit but at the same time, the definition of welterweight is 140 to 147, hence the limit of 147. if the limit on this fight is 145, then technically its not welterweight. especially since in this day and age most fighters come in right at the limit or as close as they can. its confusing because it is welterweight but at the same time 145 -147 is probably where 99% of the welterweights fighting today weigh in at. like cotto says , he won that title with a limit of 147 and he should only be able to lose it at a limit of 147.

i agree 100% good post man cotto shouldnt have to put the title up if its not at the WW limit pac is just tryin to get every advantage he can which is also understandable hope they can agree to something and make the fight happen

but i do somewhat agree with you pac man fans. it is within the limit, in the history books though i do think there should be an * next to it ife manny does win, because boxing has such a history and cathweights only started for big money fights, like back in the day when carmen basilio fought ray robinson for his middleweight title, carmen weighed like 153 and robinson weighed in at the limit. *** i do agree with you guys to an extent but i would give a lot more props to manny if he dropped the limit, and manny is my favorite fighter on the planet. either way , cant wait for the fight.

Bob Arum is a pimp and he especially pimps Cotto hard. Kind of
bad how they treat Cotto sometimes, considering he is always a
quiet guy and fights who he is supposed to. Should have a lil more
respect for the guy in my opinion. The contract didn't stipulate that
the fight is for the title and now their saying it's for the title? Sounds
like Manny has and is holding all the cards. If you ask me, Manny is
a lil more demanding than Floyd. I am rooting for Cotto to win because
someone has to stop the forces of Roach/Pacquiao in the Sport of
Boxing.
