A bit unfair to hatton. Tszyu was on a 13 win streak when he fought hatton and hadnt lost for 7 or so years so try to be a bit fairer. Hatton also has some good wins over good opponents over a long peroid of time. Hes not an elite fighter but he was a very hard opponent in his prime. Id count hatton as a very good figher, just not great like floyd and pac are.

Hatton proved he didn't DESERVE to share the ring with Mayweather or Pacquiao....so stop all that "he only lost to the #1s" bull****...
Let me shoot them down once and for all...
Here's why those fights happened....
Hatton cruised off the Tszyu **** for years and finagled his way into the Mayweather fight.....Mayweather knew Hatton was nothing more than a plump cherry....an easy win for big money.....the only reason Hatton was finally ready to fight Mayweather was because he was finally ready to sell his 0 and take a beating...
He then sold his NAME for the Pacquiao fight. Making boatloads of pounds off of all the gullible brits...I can't believe how many travelled here to watch him get destroyed in 2 rounds...KNOWING he was lacking as a boxer....lol...that's not "being a good fan"....that's called "being a FOOL."...as in "A fool and his money are soon parted."....
Ricky Hatton is basically using and abusing his countrymen. They shouldn't be trying to defend him...they should be trying to FORGET him.Comment

hatton won 4 world titles in 2 weights not including IBO and ring mag. hatton could have easily stayed in manchester, fight all his fights in manchester. he could easily have said, naa i dont want to challenge the p4p best. twice. i dont want to go to america.
you will easily dismiss hattons win over tszyu, which shows you have either no boxing IQ or memory or your just a hater.
Hatton showed balls by going out of the comfort zone and challenging the best fighters out there. how many other fighters can honesty say that?
