No, I don't think Fury will get past domestic level. His punches have no snap they're lazy, he leaves his jab out there and doesn't bother to return it and it's becoming a recurring mistake.

Anyone of note would throw that right hand over the top. He is also fat, which I know is becoming a repeated problem in the HW division but if your serious about being a world class fighter then get in shape, because unless you have real talent and Fury hasn''t shown that (he uppercutted himself in the face) then your not going to get by.

I think the problem here is:

            - People don't understand that British boxing dominating will not happen for another few years. So instead of looking at our current top fighters, look at our prospects. Who are some of the best prospects in the world. If not the best.

            - Domination being overrated. We don't think that British boxers will be ruling 10 or so divisions. Take the past few years as an example, Hatton and Calzaghe being our biggest names. In a few years time we'll have more than 2 big names. See where I'm coming from?

I've never seen a British boxing scene so stacked in my life. There are too many top fighters for us not to make an impact on the world stage.

Whatever their promoters do is up to them. If they want to keep them in Britain so they have the pulling power of 30k+ then so be it.

Who's gonna argue that America is the mother of commercialism, major corporations, lemmings, zombies, trendy ass people...that's the recipe for selling.

I'll put it this way. The only reason why Pacquiao is where he is, is because he started fighting in the states. If he stayed in the P.I. smashing on everyone, he'd just be a local hero working for 1500 pesos a fight.
england and germany can create just as big purses 90% of the time as the US. If khan hatton happend it would sell out wembley easily 100k you wont see that in america in a million years.

Like I said, lack of discipline. His trainer is also his Uncle.

I think with a good trainer he can do well.

The trainer being the biggest factor here.

                      Exactly.

Two top British boxers would easily sell 100k tickets and a big PPV sum. The problem being that when British boxers do fight top opposition, it's normally an American opponent.
