for you americans they are unknown. now im not brittish, but u seriously think guys like victor ortiz or andre ward or whatever is famous in britain? hell no, **** i doubt even guys like floyd mayweather or oscar del a hoya is famous in britain. here in sweden even joe calzaghe and wlad ´klitschko they are pretty well known for the normal sport fan. but the normal sport fan here probably hasnt a clue who del a hoya or mayweather are.

europe and america is like 2 different worlds, just because u havent heard of it and it isnt american it doesnt mean that its bad. but offcourse for you ultra-nationalistic americans, everything non-american sucks.

Brazil put all their eggs in one basket, so to speak. Do they dominate any other sports? Do they even dominate footy anymore? Kinda like PR with boxing, they are a non-factor in most other sports.

Brits arent really dominating anything heavily right now but we're a major contender in almost all sports

National sport of India is cricket.
National sport of Australia/SA is cricket and rugby.
National sport of Britain is rugby/football/tennis/cricket
