    Why?

Even Maskaev is a better fight.

On BoxRec now? They were previously supposed to fight on Aug 15. I hadn't heard any Sep 26 date was agreed to.

I think Kevin would likely prefer to fight Vitali for a world title than wait until the end of September to fight Solis...

Maskaev is old and shot, Johnson is prime and undefeated.

I Think johnson would be a decent opponent.although he lacks experience at the top level why not? I was right about the cancellation if the Johnson/solis fight.I posted that almost a week ago.the only reason I thought that happened was on espn fight schedule that fight was no longer posted.I'm also going to get a refund for Barrett/hinton it got postponed until sept 12 & I leave to south America for a month September 11.I'm very disappointed because I could have checked out some open sparring, weigh in/press conference & would have met monte Barrett.oh well!

That would be an interesting fight, but Dan Rafael said today Chambers will likely be fighting Wlad next (before Povetkin).

Cool. I dunno much of Johnson, so can't say 4 sho, but I doubt he puts up much of a fight. Arreola is presently #1, so despite a mando fight not bein enforced on VK atm, he should fight him anyway, assumin that clears him to choose his next fight. Then he's free to unify wit the Haye-Val winner. I'd like that scenario best if Wlad's tied up wit Chambers and Povetkin the next couple fights.

Maskaev is a name and has fought altough losing more than winning but has fought good fighters plus he has a win over Vitali in the amateurs.

                  Johnson is the bum killer.

Not if Vitali offers Johnson a world title shot.

Fighting Vitali in Germany would pay about $1,000,000, fighting Solis on an undercard would pay $25,000 to maximum $50,000.
