I was thinking he might choose to fight Vitali instead of Solis in September, since he'll getting paid only about $20,000 to $30,000 to fight Solis, and somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,000,000 to fight Vitali.

I don't know the exact figures but I do know a fight with Vitali would be easily the biggest payday of his career.

And since there is no one else who's decent available...

Vitali should give Kevin Johnson (WBC #6) a title shot!
I could be in fighting shape in 7 weeks. What happened to him getting a nutrition expert and all that ****?

I would wanna see this fight. but its not a good fight for vitali really..i mean if he beats johnson than he gets zero credit at this point..but if johnson beats him (which johnson has the talent and skills to do) it doesnt make vitali look very good..cause us hardcore boxing fans know johnson is a good boxer but the casual fans etc will kind of look down on vitali...but either way i would definatly watch this fight

Johnson is an unproven, untested prospect who hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse. I've seen a couple of his fights against bums and I'm not impressed, he has too many flaws. He lacks power, has low workrate, he's flat footed, has no head movement and is easy to hit, that fat bum Devin Vargas was landing tons of flush shots on Johnson.

Whether Johnson can beat Vitali is not the point. The point is he hasn't beaten anyone. It's not that Johnson is a risk or Vitali is scared of him, it's just that Johnson needs to beat better opponents first before getting a title shot. I would say he's one or two fights away from a title shot.

If KINGPIN Kevin Johnson has a lack of power, please explain how he floored (and knocked out) Wlad in sparring, and how he stunned Vitali on numerous occasions while they were sparring. Both Klit bros use Kevin Johnson as a sparring partner for their major fights. Vitali has stated that KJ is way better than any other HW he has ever worked with, and that Kevin is the most difficult HW to fight due to his exceptional skill level.

Smith landed a whooping 13 more punches, yet threw 398 more punches..........You can throw a million punches and be uneffective, and your opponent can throw 1 punch and win the fight..........Think before you speak
