Ibragimov was an undefeated HW champ who had an illustrious amateur career prior to that. He was 32 years old when he fought Wlad a year and a half ago. He as not fought since and has no plans to ever fight again. I'd say that's destroyed.

Wlad wasn't "destroyed" by Sanders, because he's bounced back, become a more patient fighter, and become the heavyweight champion! He's not been down and has hardly lost a round in his last eight fights, and during that time he's beaten fighters who were undefeated (Brock, Chagaev, and Ibragimov), never been down (Chagaev, Thompson) or never previously stopped (Brewster, Brock, Thompson, Chagaev).

What happened to Arreola?

According to Wlad's training camp nutritionalist who posts at ESB as "CHEF", Arreola was offered the fight with Vitali as late as NOVEMBER and turned it down.

But James Toney is willing. At this point I say, why not? He and Vitali are about the same age, 38 and 40.
