The ruskies are every bit as good as Cubans my friend. Still, we will see more cubans which is a great thing just don't think they'll dominate. They'll do very well tho. Definitely equal par to the ruskies.

Once the Cuban flood gates open, they'll be the new kings of Carribean boxing.

lol What!? The Russians are just big, and they're in divisions where there's no real good big guys. They aren't even on Cuba's radar man...

I think the Olympics and Amatuers prove otherwise there.

I am not saying that Cuabns are bad, or that they cant beat russians; They can. But, to say that they will come over and dominate is not true.
Dominating in the weakest division in boxing.

No, they didn't. Actually in 2008 they didn't win a single gold medal. If you're talkin about history, USA is the number one, Cuba number 2.

I expect big things from chinese Zhou Shimming, french men Djhelkir, Daouda Sow and cubanos Emilio Correa, Yankiel Leon and italian Heavyweight Roberto Cammarelle.

those guys are good but the thing with Cubans is, the same system that serves to oppress them, is the same one that has created this atmosphere of boxing dominance in the amateurs.

To comapre a country the size of the U.S to Cuba, is compliment enough. Cubans want to make money just like everyone else and when these guys come into the pro's, they are already 26,27,28 years old and have hundredds of fights under their belts.

                    Watch out for Cuba.

LOL, yeah right. Its been said over and over again, the heavyweight champion of the world has always been considered the toughest man on the planet not a bunch shrimps fighting at these lower weights. The Eastern block owns the entire heavyweight division, Cuba will never ever be able to even compete.

The Cubans might be able able to do well in those lower divisions fighting those fighters that look like they are anorexic, crack heads, or super models, but will never compete in divisions with normal sized human beings.
